Dr. Brian Schmutzler

Dr. Brian Schmutzler is board certified anesthesiologist working as Chief Anesthesiologist and Medical Director of the Operating Room at Unity Physicians Hospital in Mishawaka, Indiana. Dr. Schmutzler has owned and operated multiple medical and non-medical businesses, most recently joining with Dr. Jon Eash and Bronson Taylor, CRNA to create JEBS Anesthesia Consultants, LLC.

He has a diverse background, training in anesthesiology, neuropharmacology, and acupuncture. Dr. Schmutzler received his medical degree and PhD from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed an internship at St. Vincent Hospital and Health System in Indianapolis and anesthesia residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, and has tailored his career with a special emphasis on regional anesthesia and ambulatory anesthesia. With several years of experience in anesthesia, Dr. Schmutzler also has nearly 10 years of experience as a hospitalist physician.

Currently, Dr. Schmutzler actively practices anesthesiology and acupuncture in Indiana and Michigan. Aside from his clinical and administrative work in anesthesia, Dr. Schmutzler holds leadership roles with multiple medical device and pharmaceutical firms.

Dr. Schmutzler is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Medical Association, Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, and the Society of Point of Care Ultrasound.

Bronson Taylor

Bronson Taylor is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist working at Community Hospital of Bremen as Chief CRNA. Bronson is an owner/partner in JEBS Anesthesia Consultants.

He specializes in rural hospital based anesthesia. Bronson has tailored his anesthesia career to meet the needs and demands of the rural health population and special emphasis on ultrasound guided regional anesthesia.

He sits on the board of directors for the Indiana Nurse Anesthetist Association. He is also involved in the Indiana Rural Hospital Association.

Dr. Jon Eash

CMO

Dr. Jonathan Eash is a board certified anesthesiologist working in interventional pain with the premier orthopedic group in northern Indiana. He has over 15 years of experience providing a diverse array of anesthesia care to patients including interventional procedures for chronic pain, intraoperative care, and perioperative care including expertise in regional pain management and postoperative management. Dr. Eash completed Medical School and anesthesia residency both at Indiana University, and has been a life long resident of northern Indiana.
